Whodunnit offers an effortless way to host your own murder mystery dinner game. This platform simplifies the process with easy invites, character question screens, profiles, costume suggestions, and a variety of engaging murder mystery stories set in different scenarios.
Each player is assigned a character from the story, such as a wild west gunslinger, a down and out jazz pianist, or a spoiled rich kid. Participants are encouraged to dress up, gather props, and fully embody their assigned characters on the night of the event. Whodunnit streamlines the hosting and participating experience by providing all the necessary information at your fingertips. How to Play - Getting Started
- Gather a group of friends (7-21) and select a murder mystery to download onto your device.
- Choose a date, time, and location for the murder mystery dinner party. Allow approximately two to three hours for the event.
- Once you have entered all the necessary details, distribute the character codes among your friends.
- Prepare for your assigned role by reading up on your character's background and motivations, as well as potential motives for being the murderer.
- Assemble your costume using suggestions provided in the app.
- Show up at the agreed-upon location and let the host unlock the "Introduction" to kick off the party.
Host
As the murder mystery host, your responsibilities include introducing the theme to guests, initiating the investigation, and ultimately revealing the culprit. Don't fret! The app provides all the important lines for you to follow. Your primary focus should be ensuring that both you and your guests have a memorable time.
